Revolving Credit is a fixed-term credit facility that enables you to finance your investments in the medium to long term. Revolving Credit can be used in the form of one or more renewable advances, which you can call on at the desired moment.
How does it work?
- The credit term is set according to your financial requirements and generally varies between two and ten years.
- The minimum amount is 250,000 EUR. There is no maximum.
- You can draw on the credit whenever it suits you throughout its term.
- The minimum amount you can draw down is 125,000 EUR.
- The interest rate (based on the division 'actual number of days/360') is variable. The rate applying to each drawing is calculated based on short-term market rates, plus a contractual margin.
- You repay your loan either at maturity or as part of a redemption schedule set in advance.
- After each repayment, you can make further drawdowns in accordance with the credit ceiling.
Advantages
- Advantageous interest rates: you benefit from variable short-term interest rates rather than a single (and higher) long-term rate.
- Flexibility: you decide when to draw an advance.
- Renewal: after a repayment, you can reuse the same amount up to the ceiling on your loan.
Good to know
- In addition to the cost of the credit, you need to take account of an arrangement and management fee, a fee on unused capital and default interest in case of default payment.
- The characteristic flexibility of this credit formula is reflected in the risk of fluctuating interest rates.
- You can repay all or part of your Revolving Credit early in accordance with the SME Act of 21/12/2013 (modified on 21/12/2017) on the financing of small and medium-sized enterprises. The early repayment penalty varies according to the amount of the original loan:
- Credit under 2 million EUR: the early repayment penalty is equal to six months of interest;
- Credit over 2 million EUR: the prepayment penalty is based on the transparent framework of the code of conduct, drawn up in accordance with the SME Act.
